In 2022, $306,112 was raised to support the YWCA Quebec.
The From the Shadows to the Light Fundraising Evening is a fundraising event that has been held every year since 2004 to support the YWCA Quebec in its mission. It is an emotional evening that allows us to put forward the precious testimonies of women living at the YWCA Quebec and to make them shine.
It is also an opportunity for everyone to learn about the mission and values of the organization, the work that is done on a daily basis and the dedication we have to building a safe society today and for generations to come.
With the support of our partners, YWCA Quebec works to build an inclusive, safe and accessible environment for women, girls and their families 365 days a year. Your collaboration allows us to act!
To have a direct impact on our society by changing the lives of these women and their children;
To raise the profile of an issue that is still too little known and underfunded;
To highlight women affected by issues of homelessness, violence and mental health;
To join a network of actors committed to building a more egalitarian future.
Discover the advantages of being a partner of the From Shadow to Light Benefit Evening!
To enable Youth Services to equip youth aged 10 years and older to develop healthy relationships and self-esteem;
Provide training to develop women’s leadership;
Encourage women’s physical health;
Provide activities to break isolation such as volunteering.
A silent auction, organized each year as part of the From Shadow to Light Benefit Evening, allows the Foundation to showcase magnificent prizes donated by precious donors. This additional source of revenue creates a great experience for the participants of the evening while raising funds in an original way.

![Joyeux mois de la fierté 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
Nous joignons notre voix à celle de la @[17841400702289590:@ywcacanada]. C'est en ce mois de juin que nous célébrons les combats passés, présents et à venir. Alors que les émeutes de Stonewall en 1969 ont lutté contre la violence à l'encontre des communautés 2SLGBTQIA+, aujourd'hui encore, de nombreuses organisations et activistes se battent toujours pour obtenir et maintenir leurs droits fondamentaux.
Au cours des trois dernières années, nous avons assisté à une augmentation de la violence à l'encontre des membres de la communauté 2SLGBTQIA+ au Canada.
