Our community development capacity relies heavily on the time and talents of many dedicated volunteers. The contribution of volunteers enhances the quality of services, programs and events offered at the YWCA Quebec. Without their commitment, it would be impossible to offer so much to women and families in the Quebec City area.
On average, each year, more than 12,000 hours of volunteer work are done, which represents 750 days of work that, calculated at minimum wage, would have cost us over $120,000.
There is something for everyone! Whether it’s doing the residents’ tax returns, doing data entry, being a donation clerk or selling at our Ecoboutique, our needs are varied.
